FULL DISTANCE (226k – 140.6 miles)

HALF DISTANCE (113k – 70.3 miles)

The added value

🥇 It is about the science: data and performance → I am Chemical Engineer from University, so crunching and analysing data is a daily thing for me

🥈 It is about the art of communicating and connecting with the athlete → I have a diploma in Coaching & NLP, so I know how to deal with and treat people

🥉 It is about a business relationship, where the athlete pays for a service → I have a MBA degree, so I am aware of my obligations here

TRAINING PHILOSOPHY

FULL DISTANCE (226k – 140.6 miles)

GENERAL GUIDELINES

  • Consistency is the main driver to success. Shortcuts only lead to burnout, injuries, illnesses, etc.
  • In endurance sport, Nutrition & FuellingRest & RecoveryStrength & Conditioning and Mental Skills are at least as important as Swim, Bike and Run
  • General preparation phases (Prep, BASE): basic abilities + polarized training
  • Race-specific preparation phases – 12 weeks to race “A” (BUILD, PEAK): advanced abilities with focus on race-like intensities

BEGINNERS: avoid injuries, gradual adaptation to new stress, manage ambitions

INTERMEDIATE LEVEL: increased frequency/intensity/volume of workouts, guide to self-management

ADVANCED LEVEL: high performing training plans, specific to goals and season setup, exploration of other less typical training models
